Subscribing to a Platform on YouTube or Patreon or Something Like That

I always thought that subscribing to a channel in YouTube was like unnecessary and a bit weird being like if I you know like why would I but I think in this case like a subscription to someone would be actually a good way. Some people might be just like passing by and having a look at your work so maybe that could actually be an interesting feature or something to think about is like subscribing to certain spaces to get sort of active feedback back in other ways. Yeah, I'm still always bothered by this it's being facilitated by platforms like patreon or sub stack in the case of newsletters which isn't inherently bad but I keep trying to be like well how could we just put some of the open
