The Different Roles of Spirits in Grimoires
The lists, they preceded the seals. The same spirits turn up in either identical roles or in slightly similar roles. It's not that common to see a spirit with the same name turning up with a completely different role or function. These hierarchies also seem to depend on the particular grimoire. So you may get entirely different sigils coming and going.
