Is There a Need for Diversity in Philosophy?

I think philosophy is an interesting discipline because it's, on the one hand, very potentially liberating to marginalized people. And i would say masogoni and racism are absolutely in there. There h've been strong moves in recent years to have many more women included in the suggestive readings of flossie courses. But like many good measures, i think it's necessary, but not sufficient. Think we also have to look carefully at topics that we study in philosophy and present as interesting and rich for students.
