The Life and Times of Robert Garro

The escape went unnoticed for an entire night. The morning after, a guard saw what appeared to be Garro still asleep in his cell and yelled at him. Within an hour, officers had combed every square foot of the prison and its crowns. For reasons that remain unclear, Garro didn't even run once he was free. Three weeks later, his son pleaded guilty to a charge of promoting prison contraband. He claimed he hadn't known the details of his father's escape plan.
