How to Store a Beer in a P E D Keg
The kegs are really cheap they're about a third of the price of stainless alternatives for the same size. Even at three times less gas transmission it still probably has more transmission than say stainless steel yeah and that makes sense. Outside of a big old russian imperial stout or maybe a belgian quad what are you going to be storing for six plus months for most beers? The p e t bottle holds about 58 p s i of pressure which corny keg only goes to about 35 36 p s i so keep that in mind when forced carbonating.
