Molly Webster: I keep thinking about what does it mean to wake up with numbers flashing at us and like a ticker tape of coronavirus curling on every digital screen that I'm looking at every day. There's something about just like seeing headlines where it's like 400 more people got this overnight. And then the next day it's like 523 people got this in the U.S. Molly Webster: But I also think about because numbers carry such weight, I keep wondering about like the psychological effects of that drum beat every day.
