How to Resource Yourself and Yourself

How did you deal with the fear of being exposed to something terrifying? I wonder if you could talk about how you resourced yourself. One thing is just the external resource, which I'm very lucky to have had to be able to afford a shrink who can do this. Many years of meditation was extremely helpful. There are ways in which having heightened capacity for mindfulness can actually make it scarier at the beginning.
