David blaine knew what he was getting into when he decided to perform this stunt. He had nothing inside the coffin but a straw through which he consumed three tablespoons of water per day. The glass enclosed coffin provided a vantage point for onlookers and a view out for david. Plus, there were crews and medical professionals on sight.
