Hydrogel is basically a polymer, right, as anything else. It's really highly desiccated. So it's like a little straw, about 2.5 centimeters. You can prime it by putting a little saline or lidocane in the well as you're deploying it. But it's supposed to pick up the moisture from the tissues. And within five minutes, it should fully expand.
