Is Merivys Town a Father-Daughter Show?
I am all for a trend of let's get in and get out. Let's keep it moving. Let's bring some sense of cinematic storytelling back to television where just because we can fill 10 hours or 15 hours or whatever, we don't have to take it all. We can get there. And yet I have to be honest, and people listening to this podcast and maybe last week can tell, I don't feel particularly emotionally invested in the show. That is surprising partly because the curating of this show has really thrown me.
