What's the Preoperative Phase?

People are understandably more anxious when they walk into an operating room. And so we like for people to have all the test to be done in advance, meet the anasesiologists and the pre operative area,. See the surges, ind the preopver, ask all your questions. All these things are done in a much more calm environment. They'll usually, for this type, for c sections, they'll usually also put in your intravenus line in that room, rather than the operating room. It's sort of a nicer environment to be in. Then when that's all done, then it's time to go into the operating room.
