I've Never Used Call Once in a Critical Path, Right?

I don't know if i've ever seen call once in the critical path. I think that, like, ye, all codes should depend on the reader, right? None of this is too cute if your codeis going to last ten minutes. We have some of the best code janitors in the world, or code, we call them code gardeners.
