Options Volume Over the Last 22 Years
Over the last 22 years, options volume has absolutely exploded. It went from probably like, set five billion contracts that OCC cleared in 2019 to last year. The full option volume for the entire marketplace of exchange traded options has theoretically doubled. People tend to trade things more actively and in a much more educated way when they have a good basis of understanding of it.
