The Backing Click Track in My Headphones
Ringo was angry when Jeff Lin tried to use a backing click track on one of their later songs. He couldn't hear it over the sounds of his own drums and everything else. The solution was to get a big speaker, a big monitor, and put it on a table next to the drum kit. With that note, loop in, with that note like, make it. It's coming out through a speaker anyway, pointed at the audience. But on stage, musicians often will have monitors. You see those little speakers at the front that sometimes the guitarist will put a leg on when he uses solo. So yeah, exactly. The drummer should be the flipping click track.
