How to Design a Portfolio for Your Life
I hate that phrase like you can't have it all. But I think it has some truth to it, which is you think about your portfolio. The way that you design it can't just have your work because as you point out, your work is not in a vacuum. It's in the context of your life. And based on what I need, what I have capacity for right now, which of those can I pull into this version of my portfolio? And then when your needs change, you rebalance. So part of it is the realization that you have a certain capacity and a certain set of needs that might look very different from the person sitting next to you or even yourself
