Mac Dowell's "Tuskegee Airman"

Sculpture was inspired by a photograph of an African-American boy being beaten by police officers. Mc dowell says he wanted to show that the protest was non violent and not about power. The sculpture is now on display at rosa park's tuskegee history center.
