The Importance of Bridging
I've got two issues with bridging. One is that I think it's going to take a while. The second issue is I could very much imagine this being quite frustrating, possibly moralizing for the students who are kind of scrabbling around without the knowledge by definition to solve the problem. So it's just a fruitless exercise because none of them are going to come up with Pythagoras' theorem or it'd be very rare if they did. Isn't it just more efficient and better for morale? Just to say, look, this is how to do this now. It doesn't damage morale and it doesn't take a long time. You just go do it right. And
