Is There a Need for Change at the Hiring Stage?
Where faculty come from makes a difference in the questions that they ask. Accreditations are known to affect things like paper acceptance rates prestigeous affiliations increase the likelihood that one's paper gets accepted. Without future efforts to change things at the hiring stage, i more unlikely to see gente parity over the next decade.
