The US Coast Guard plucked a man. And his dog out of the Gastonino Channel, which is a waterway near Juneau, Alaska. Apparently he was trying to paddle 10 miles downstream in a homemade rowboat constructed from Duck Tape. United Airlines sent a memo to their crews reminding them to not use duct tape to restrain passengers.
