The Balfour Declaration - The Promise of the Jewish State
In the Balfour Declaration, they promised what Israel today, and Jordan, to forward the establishment of the Jewish state. America wouldn't even sell Israel weapons until 1967, wouldn't give them a dime until 1967. And indeed, in the early days, didn't give Israel any money even after 1967. There's a reason why Israel is the richest place put aside natural resources in the Middle East.
