Greenland Contributing Every Third Teaspoon of Water to Sea Level Rise

By the end of this century one of the things we've been talking about is really about ice shelves around Antarctica. That has a big effect on sea level. The ocean getting warmer actually until quite recently was our primary contributor to sea level rise so far. It takes a long time for the heat in the atmosphere to work its way down into the deep parts of the ocean which are cooler. Warm water takes up more room.
