Chapter 24 That We Must Purify Ourselves From Evil Inclinations
St. Francis: We have certain natural inclinations which are not properly speaking either venial or mortal sins, because such inclinations do not arise in our own wills. He says that we should purify ourselves from such attachments for they put us in danger of disordering our souls as we pursue them. In this way, you will increasingly strengthen your conscious against all mortal sin. May God give you the grace to practice them well.
