I Believe in Ghosts Again

I went to see Bill in prison for the first time on Christmas Eve 1998. The bank was about to take the house for debt so I thought I could muster up one last visit just to see what the temporary off-site caretaker had been doing with maintenance and so forth. It was a 90-mile drive back to Athens from the prison and I got to the house about one in the morning and I found that I couldn't go in.
