Amiodarone and Inletic Pain for the Treatment of in-Hospital Cardiac Arrest
Lidocaine was associated with statistically significantly higher odds of rock, survival to discharge and favorable neurologic outcome when compared to amiodarone. I believe this study could be in the conversation to pause and discuss utilization of lidocaine before amiod in cases of in-hospital cardiac arrest. The reason for why lidocaine seems to be so superior here is because we're missing patients with factors in additional information about the arrest.
