Zhang Sergung: The Darling of the New Left

Wang Hui or Tse-Tui Jian represent the 1990s version of the new left very, very well because they're heavily influenced by stuff from the West. Zhang Qing imagines entirely new Confucian orders where China's government is redone in a Confucian sense. For the new Confuitions, my favorite is Chen Ming, who is a younger guy with more sense of humor than Zhang Qing. B. Xu Jiling has since moved away from his liberal near-dissident posture that he might have had in the 1990s and 2000 towards something a little bit more marginal.
