The Importance of Slow Growth

I was a teenager when we started the band. We didn't appreciate actually, it was pretty fast compared to other bands. The fact that they were in arenas within a few years is actually pretty astonishing looking back. And somewhat miraculous. I actually do think there was... Everyone wants to be in a rock and roll band. Even if you make a great record, the stars have got to align for you for it. There's so much talent that deserves to be playing headlining Bonnaroo or ACL or whatever. For whatever reason it hasn't quite worked out. Well, we all take our various rides. It's dependent on so many things and it's completely unpredictable, I think.
