The Light for Stowboys - A Different Line Up
The original Light for Stowboys were influenced by jazz and Western music. Bob Wills wanted to stick with a more traditional Hillbilly string band sound. The Musical Brownies are now largely forgotten, but they're considered the first band ever to play proper Western swing. Smokey Montgomery is on those tracks you just heard.
