The Future of Solar Power

The amount of power generated by solar has eclipsed one terawatt. That's one trillion watts of energy. Global output of solar power was predicted to reach 880 gigawatts by next year, but we've already raced past that prediction. We can now really envision a path to 2050 where PV could become a majority supplier of total energy for the world.
