The Problem With Subsidies in Agriculture

In the UK a cattle farmer on average would lose about 14 000 pounds a year through the farming itself however they make a profit because the government gives them subsidies. The industry itself is a failed industry it doesn't make money it loses money and only able to support itself because the taxpayer basically subsidizes them. A punnet of organic blueberries would cost more than an entire chicken but that's nonsensical, he says. We're squandering so much money that could be spent on protecting our environment by making healthy you know food more affordable  and also spreading good scientific scientifically backed nutrition evident nutritionally backed evidence sorry or evidence to support good nutrition.
