How to Short SPACs

Shorting SPACs may seem attractive but it's very very difficult. Redemption rates have been in the 80 percent range. Investors will look at low float names with options with high short interest. You see these moves on completely non fundamental reasons where a spag could go to 20 or 30 bucks And so if you're short that from 10, that's painful and what happens along the way is your borrow gets increasingly expensive.
