The Importance of Managing Yourself

There's players getting managed by managers that also manage the coach, they manage the GM. Between two companies, really, you've got 600 of the 800 players and probably two thirds of the senior coaches. So I think there is a bit of noise being made by some of the players to the PA about how can we get a little bit more separation? Because the 40th bloke on the list should have an equal opportunity of being heard and managed. From experience, I'd equate manager Matt Bain. He was very nice to me as he'd tell me, you reckon you've got me about seven extra years so you don't think so should add one. It just worked like synergy.
