The German American Bund
Author arne bernstein, who in 20 13 wrote a book called swastika nation, fritz koon and the ris and fall of the german american bund. According to bernstein's work, bund membership never got higher than 25 thousand people but the entire time the organization claimed it was much, much bigger. He also goes on to say that the majority of kids that were attending these camps were the grandchildren or children of german immigrants and naturalized American citizens who were themselves members of the bund.
