The Problem With Gigabyte's Auto Updater Program
A Taiwanese motherboard manufacturer, Gigabyte, made motherboards that when it restarts, there's code within the firmware. The problem with this is that it was pretty insecurely implemented and doesn't really check sometimes where it's coming from. I would love to even see how some of these companies deal with cybersecurity on the back end, right? We have no idea.
