The Birth of a Baby in the NICU

The delivery went pretty well. The mom did have a pretty big tear of her perineum that required repair. There is what appears to be a long term injury to the right eye that was caused by the force up birth. And the mom got an infection in the laceration we repaired and it required extensive surgery to fix.
