Moral Relativivism - The Argument From Disagreement
The idea of moral progress only makes sense if there's such a thing as an objective moral norm that we are actually moving closer towards. Some people argue that because it is intolerant to believe that one's moral views are right and others wrong, it follows that moral relativism best establishes tolerance. This was the thinking behind th once popular primary and secondary teaching technique called values clarification.
