High IQ Is an Obstacle to Success
David Frum: IQ just isn't that important unless you want to be a fighter pilot or on the faculty of a university. He says men are overrepresented in the two tails of the bell curve, which is why there are more chess grandmasters than women. But for success in life, he says, you don't need high IQ; you just need a broad average. "You pretty much cannot change your IQ."
