In 1921, Adolf Zukor and Jesse Lasky put together a meeting of all the most powerful men in Hollywood at Delmonico's Steakhouse. They wanted to make it look like they're cleaning up their act because they don't want the government to take over the industry. A lot of these guys are Jewish and they're afraid that they will be deposed by anti-Semites.
