The Immortality of Cancer

I think we have to make it the case that it is still relevant enough to how we live now. If we make it so fantastical, so as not to resemble us in any deep sense, it's got a limited effect again beyond being a nice fantasy. And if you look at what philosophers have said about the possibility of immortality, I think a lot of them concluded, most famously, Bernard Williams. So it would just be, it would be intolerable and very tedious to be immortal. But yes, it's going to be relatively foreign.
