The Effect of Capping Interest Rates on the Credit Market
LZ Granderson: We've got a very small example of what happens when government starts meddling in all kinds of credit markets. He says we have federally guaranteed student loans, which means the American taxpayers are on the hook for students who don't repay their loans. LZ: The lenders look around to people who are of high risk and say, it's not worth it to me to lend you a 15%. So I'm not going to lend you at all.
