The Dangers of Zero Governance in AI
I think for me, it wasn't a much the danger of death, but I think there is a danger of death. It was just a case of zero governance or transparency in any large lab. What are we as humans? We're a story driven species and it's allowed us to scale unlike any other animal. The Gutenberg press allowed us to take these stories and put them down, but it lost a lot of our nuance. This technology basically allows us to capture more information and context for everyone. And this will allow us to tell better stories, understand better stories and scale better as humans.
