Generative AI Will Narrow the Skills Gap but Dramatically Widen the Experience Gap
Jenny: I heard a study from open a on pen that said they were looking at call centers and stuff. It could help the least skilled workers be more effective so that would be an example of how a skills gap standpoint. The bigger part of the problem is what we call the experience gap, which is not just a function of what what you know but demonstrated experience in the sector on the job. So my conclusion said, generative AI will narrow the skills gap, but dramatically widen the experience gap such that by time you finish your quote unquote educational pathway, whatever that is, be that high school college community college apprenticeship.
