The ability to maintain strength through life, not only is critical for athletic performance, but it's also critical for longevity. Your ability to sleep and recover, you cannot hack it. You cannot hack bad sleep. And alcohol is alcohol is an issue. The challenge is this is I could go out till two in the morning. I could wake up for a six AM run. In fact, I could probably beat most of the people on my team. And I'm probably still drunk. Right? That doesn't mean it's just because you can get through the workout that your development has been affected by drinking too much or taking too many pills at night. We're probably wrong about high fat diets
