Is Pornography a Good Idea?

In developmental theory work, there's this general assumption that we move through pre-conventional conventional and post-conventional phases of our experience. But it seems like there are certain kinds of functions in the mind and in the brain that allow that development to continue along any particular path. And if you have a sense of behavioral shame, a sense that you can't talk about or discuss something, that you have to conceal it, then those spaces become airless.
