What Do You Want?

What do you want me to do for you? Those are words that come from the mouth of Jesus again and again over the pages of Scripture. Historically, desire was viewed as one of the primary or maybe the primary ways that God speaks to us. More recently though, particularly within church traditions in North America,. we tend to identify desire with sin only and not also with our redemption.
