Are There Any Conversations About Music Recommendation Algorithms?
The takeaway was always like, everyone is doing exactly the same thing. They're making ensemble models where they combine together every signal under the sun. This comes through in the book, I think, is that basically everybody is using some big like dogs, breakfast, mixture of just whatever they can get their hands on. The people that I spoke with mostly in music, they would consider themselves to be like, good guys in this broader field.
