Is There a Constitutional Amendment to Term Limits?
It is certainly true that lawmakers who have been around longer have more power, have more seniority able to get things done more easily. There is some benefit to longer tenure, but I think once you get past six, eight, ten years, according to what the Institute of Knowledge is already there. And because of that, Nathan, it seems that you've got a real uphill climb. Absolutely. We need the constitutional amendment. What you don't want to have is have one state having term limits on their members of Congress and other states that does it.
