Vladimir Putin is in a tough position, says Peter Bergen. Progosian said things that really fly in the face of Putin's ability to lead, didn't he? He was very good at projecting himself and it's clear firstly that Wagner is personally very loyal to him. And secondly, that there were a lot of people in the military who were either very sympathetic or at least willing to look the other way  and wait to see what happens. So this is bad for Putin.
