The Church's Job Is to Worship God

Worship is indeed for ouselves, but it's also for the world. As saint john paul the second said eloquently enough, ecclesia de ucharistia, the church comes from the eucharist. And so if we want a church that vibrantly worships god, we need priests. We recall pope franci's marvellous image of the church as a field hospital where the wounded are treated. Now it carries out this task in numberless ways,. caring for those who are poor, economically, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually.
