In practice, it's about becoming aware of diet mentality. Getting into your body signals around movement instead of I should exercise or I'm not getting off the couch. What does my body want to do? And it takes a while to kind of peel off the layers and get through the brambles of diet mentality in order to really hear that voice.
Everyone has a view about what you should eat and how much. We're so bombarded with fad diets, fasting plans and nutritional advice that we can bounce from one way of eating to another without stopping to think: "What do I want to eat?"
