Metalga's Early Albums Are All About Metal

i find it very interesting that i love the stupid ideology of their early albums, which there is presumed to be some kind of great conflict over the concept of metal. I wonder at what age agenre mostly stops being about the concept of itself as a genre. And then i look back on music that i used to listen to and don't listen to any more, and often feel this sting in my stomach. It wasn't a deliberate choice, i just kind of moved on to other things.
